Things That Piss Me Off
The Continuing Saga of My Old Man Like Bitterness towards all things New and Improved

All right, I didn't plan on writing anything else in here this evening; but every now and then something comes to my attention that needs to be written about while my blood is still boiling.

It seems now that the younger generation that grew up with the Sailor Moon and the Pokemon and the other such japanimation shows, has branched itself out onto the internet. Not to say that they weren't doing this when they were two, they were probably surfing, but to say that they are creating their own little nooks and crannies. And oh my word, The pages that crawl with Anime inspired themes on blogger!

Out of sheer bordness, and lack of wanting to sleep, i decided to take a look through some of the most recently published blogs on blogger.com. Heck, I'd like people to get to this page like that, so why not browse through and give their hard-worked on pages a view?

About 7 or 8 of the around 10 that i visited, had a theme based on some sort of japanimation. Theres got to be some more creative ways to design a page. I'm actually in the process of fiddling around with a more tablelish like look for this page, and reading up on stylesheets to drastically reduce the amount of HTML i have to type.

Aside from the Blogger Code (Heavily altered by myself), All the pages at this site have been created in Notepad from scratch. These kids are probably using the likes of Yahoo, or Tripod to build the sites for them. Now, I got a major sense of accomplishment when i saw this site come together, and am getting the same feeling as the new table look takes shape. Somehow i doubt these kids get that same feeling when the maching pops their pages out.

Sure they can claim its 'their page' but in reality its their text and another's code. Code being what the page actually is, they hence forth do not have their own page, but merely an extend blog. To quote my signature from the late Matthew Good Band Fan Site Running for Home's Forum, The APA , Creating your own page with the use of a page builder wreaks of 'fabricated home cooking'

This page originated with the blank blogger template, and grew from there. Any Graphics/tables/links that you see on the site are all my code/creations. Built from the ground up.

I don't know if anything here made any sense. I'd like to think it did. For the most part my writing gets proof read and re-arranged before i let anybody read it. Not the case this time round :^)

I Guess The Conclusion that boils down out of all this is as follows:

I hate japanimation :^)

Probably should have said that in the first place. Oh well, heheh.

Table Topography Totally Terrific
I never much cared for proper utensil order....

Not that it concerns anyone, or that anyone even noticed, but i've fixed the table that surrounds the pictures taken by my webcam. For the longest time the table would leave a white bar at the bottom of the pictures (about 20 pixels high [1/2 centimeter {approximately} with a 1024x768 resolution]). For some reason when i told the table to have a bgcolor=black, the bar dissappeared. Not that it became a black bar, hardy har if you thought of that :^) Now the bottom border of the table hugs right on to the bottom of the snap shot. Odd.

Oh, and i've been listening to a heck of a lot of wheezer lately, and have hence changed the above bar to a shot from the keep fishin' video. I've got another background made for behind the title, featuring a blued picture of myself pearing out, I'll probably put that up sometime during august. I like the idea of changing it around every now and then, for such a little graphic it affects the feel of the page a great deal.

Bowling tommorow after work. Always a big hoot to go out with the peeps from work. I swear we'll get kicked out one of these days, as there tends to be a good deal of cursing going on ;^)

No flashy monkey picture today folks.
Perhaps i'll upload the piss monkey movie sometime in the next few days.
Everybody loves the piss monkey. If you haven't seen it, then your a sad excuse for a net surfer.

I suspect someone who hasn't seen the piss monkey video also thinks the Dancing Baby originated on Ally McBeal. Sad...

Monkey Monacle
'This whole monacle thing seems a little one-sided'

Spotted this a little while ago while browsing through IGN. It seems that Sega is creating a sequel to its Super Monkey Ball Franchise. Now normally this wouldn't catch my intrest, as i found the original Super Monkey Ball to be a bit Lackluster. What did catch my Intrest was the picture below. It seems that Sega has decided that one of the games monkeys (Looks like a villainy sort of a monkey if you ask me) will be sporting a large, round, black monacle.
