School on Tuesday
D@mn them and Their Ambigously Confounded Trickery

School starts soon. Which, for the last 4 years (I don't say five, as I was quite naive going into grade 9, expecting good things and such) has been a big pain in the bungholio, which has usually resulted in my wanting to hurt people, and spray paint graffiti on walls (none of which i actually did, but still, the thought was there).

So anyway, as i've mentioned in an earlier post, Sloan and the Trebs will be there. This makes me happy, where school makes me mad. When combined, I don't mind going back. No more cursed highschool. By the sounds of things you don't really learn anything the first week anyway, its just a bunch of orientation and gratuitous money spending (books, parking pass, and lord knows what else). Oh well, Thats what Mr.Visa is for...

Bought a deck for my car this evening. Figure if i'm driving back and forth to school every day (good 15-20min drive, probably more, the 15min estimate came from Chris, who drives like Martha Stewart trades Stock) I'd like to listen to cd's, rather then poor cassettes. This will also come in handy when its my turn to drive in the car pool.

Installing it will be another matter. Gonna give it a go on saturaday morning, and if worst comes to worst, theres always future shop.

NC gave me a call today as well. Due to a few course exemptions ( I took my OAC's [Ontario Academic Credits / Grade 13 ]) which isn't required to go to college, and I was hence expemted from first year math and english. I had applied for OSAP, and claimed to be a full-time student (before i knew about the exemptions), after the exemptions I would only be a part timer, which would screw up my OSAP funding. So I'll take Math ( They didn't lesson my tuition anyway) which is good as i was afraid i'd fall a bit back without it.

Thats all I got for tonight. Last few entries were kind of lengthy, oh well, its all about the content.

Peace Out.

Age Of Empires
An Ended Era, Unless You Count China, Buy Who Counts .....

Immature fun is always the most fun :^) Matt sent me some pictures from a map he's been creating for Age of Empires : The Conquerors.

Here we have a quaint little zoo. Complete with animals. Observe the wolves, deer, horsies, and people.

I've also added a new section to the page. If you look to the left theres a button that says 'The Bottom Line'. That page will basically contain all the non-sensual comments i make at the end of each post. Therefore, as posts get cut off from the most recent 10, you'll still be able to read the crazy crap that they ended with.

Will the whirlwind of chages ever stop? Probably next week actually, School. But thats beside the point for the moment. I've added the original stick fight movie to the humour page, so check dat' yo.

Thats about all I've got now.

Peace Out.

Crown And Anchor
Only A Tightly Knit Community Would Allow Its Young To Gamble Away Their Quarters

Labour day weekend is almost upon us, and for me that means the communities annual Labour Day Carnival.

Ah Carnivals, home to Carnies, Festering Diseases, as well as Underage Drinking and Gambling. Bring it On. To me the summer isn't officially over until I stand at the crown and anchor table, surrounded by thirteen year olds, and gamble away the rolls of quarters i've obtained from the bank.

Of course there is always the underlying sense that school is almost back in session, but hey, I work in the back to school section of a local store, so I've been aware of schools return since about mid-july. Speaking of such, I always love the reaction that people give when they walk into the store as we're stocking the school supplies. Heres a general progression of people comments from mid-july --> late-august

Mid July

-~- Oh my word, its only mid-july, I can't believe what a money grubbing company this is.
-~- You must really hate having to look at this stuff now, You've really only just started your vacation ( This one comes from people that think their smart, and try to appeal to me with a sence of mercy. Unfortunately, theres a lot of 'smart' people )

Late July

-~- Theres still a month left until school starts, I can't believe what a money grubbing company this is.
-~- You must really hate having to look at this stuff now, You're vacations only half-way done
-~- Maybe we should pick up some lined paper, and pencils now, instead of waiting till labour day weekend (these are the truly smart people, and they are to be commended)

Beggining of August

-~- August has just started, I can't believe what a money grubbing company this is.
-~- You must really hate having to look at this stuff now, August is younger then the kids at the crown and anchor table.
-~- Lets get some binders and pens now, pehaps a math set.

Late August --> September 3rd

-~- What do you mean your out of lined paper ?!?! My kids need that for School, Why don't you ignore what the computer tells you, and go round back and look for some more, while your at it, Wiggle your nose, hop on your toes, and make some more appear.
-~- What do you mean your out of Dou-Tangs?!?! My kids need those for School, Why don't you ignore what the computer tells you, and go round back and look for some more, while your at it, Wiggle your nose, hop on your toes, and make some more appear.
-~- What do you mean your out of Pencil Crayons?!?! My kids need those for School, Why don't you ignore what the computer tells you, and go round back and look for some more, while your at it, Wiggle your nose, hop on your toes, and make some more appear.
-~- What do you mean your out of Binders?!?! My kids need those for School, Why don't you ignore what the computer tells you, and go round back and look for some more, while your at it, Wiggle your nose, hop on your toes, and make some more appear.
-~- Sheesh, I'm glad I bought all the stuff I needed back in July, look at those idiots bickering and complaining now.

Oh well, theres still nothing more fun then telling people that the store's sold out of lined paper, the sad and disheartened look on their faces makes it all worth while :^)

Peace Out.
