Greece Bans All Forms Of Electronic Entertainment Playing Card Shortage Causes Riot in Greek Streets
i just read over at IGN that greece has banned all forms of electronic entertainment. Don't beleive me? Check out the article here.
That means no more solitaire, snake II, Video Poker, Hand-held Yahtzee, or any game that requires a little juice to get it working.
Now talk about taking an overkill stance on a situation. Sure, you can probably find reason to prevent people with low self integrity from playing games like counter-strike, quake, or soldier of fortune, but i doubt anybody every thought of killing someone or committing any sort of crime because they can play solitaire on their computer. Now, If they can't play solitaire on their computer.....
Its totally disgusting that a country would even consider a law like this, especially a democratic one. It really says something about the countries government. Our bitter old cranky citizens have nothing on the greek (Canada and the US included).
In the event that IGN is pulling some sort of a prank, I apologize to the greek government, and its people on behalf of IGN.
The Menu on the left now highlights the item your mouse is over, and I changed the color of the scroll bars on the page, Enjoy!
Not sure what happened with the post after this one, blogger did the evil link thing again, haven't seen that in awhile.
Anyway, Peace Out The Turkey Monster Took Our Candy
