Art Think Outside the Box
Theres something about writing. The ability to express your opinion, without somebody butting in to tell you your full of it, it frees up the mind to further its ideas. I've been writing for about two years now, the last year of which can be found on this page, give the archive button a clickity.
I've been taking a computer engineering course at school, which I enjoy and excel at, but in the back of my mind lays this need to write. I'd like to take a journalism course, but I don't like it when people tell me how I should write.
How do you teach art? Can you teach art?
I don't think you can. I see art as an output of an accumulation of skills. It's these skills, where the artist is coming from, that gives art its depth. So in that sense, directly taught art is simply a skill.
I'm sure there are those that would argue me, but lets face it, because you can bounce a ball, doesn't mean you can play basketball. Depth.
I need depth. Depth brings with it a point. A viable point. A point with a point if you will.
Oh well, thats just something thats been floating around in my brain for the last few days.
Peace Out, Laugh if you will, your part of the machine
