So I think its been close to three years that i've been writing in this thing now. cool.

I've found myself at a lack of words over the last few weeks. I blame the irregular sleep, or lack of irregular sleep, as I've been able to sleep properly since school finished for the term. With that said there's just one more week of break left, and I'll be tired and cranky again in no time, especially with morning classes every bloody day of the week.

I watched the transformers movie last night. I was a transfomer's maniac I was younger, however, I can remember very very little about what actually happened in the show. Characters, sure, but story lines, no.

So I was completely devasted when Optimus Prime got his shit wrecked by Megatron in the first half hour of the movie. Who the hell kills off Optimus Prime? You don't do that, you can't, Optimus prime is the shit. And what happens to Megatron? He gets an upgrade from some big ass mean mother fucker planet eater and becomes Galvatron. On the plus side he goes back to cybertron (which in the movie is under decepticon rule) and schools Star Scream, whose cocky ass self was trying to take over in what was beleived to be the wake of megatrons destruction. Perhaps I need to backtrack a little hear to clear things up.

After Megatron had cut the cord on Optimus Primes power line, he himself was pretty close to kicking it, but was pulled into Astro Train by one of his loyal goons. However, fearing they would not have enough energy to make it back to cybertron with the amount of weight that Astro Train was currently carrying, Megatron's back stabbing fuck hole ass of a goon Star Scream decided to throw his shit overboard. Disgusting, even Megatron doesn't deserve to be screwed over by the robots he trusts.

So anyway, we get this new hero dude (who also transforms into a truck), Optimus Prime passes him the vaunted Auto Bot Control Matrix just before he expires. Same color scheme as Optimus, same head style. So why not just leave Optimus in the movie so he can wreck more shit (which is what everybody wanted to see when the movie was released back in the 80's I imagine).

Between here and the end of the movie I'm really not too sure what was going on, as it really didn't make too much sense. There was music by Weird Al Yankovic, and other crazy stereotypical 80's groups, that didn't fit with their scenes. I'm sure there was an underlying discriminatory view of Asians, and that was wrong.

The ending was dissappointing as I was expecting by this point. Hot Rod, An autobot turns out to be the bot who can release the true power of the auto bot control matrix, and uses it to wreck the planet eating robots shit (the planet eating planet had transformed into a humanoid form at this point in the movie after Galvatron had tried to use the command matrix to control it [there was a breif lapse in the competance of the autobots in which they allowed the decepticons to gain control of the control matrix, which is bad], which royaly pissed the planet eater off, so he transformed). Everybodies happy, The End.

Conclusion on "Transformers: The Movie",,, Greatest movie ever!
