Not sure what to do after the black out? Lets make a profit, shall we? Helping to Conserve Today's Energy, For the Blunders of Tommorow
*** Public Notice ***
Any customer's making purchases at Brick Store's Across ontario will receive a gift certificate for Loblaw's for up to $100 worth of free food
***
Wow, its good to see that the Brick really cares about the well being of people. To think, I was going to buy an entertainment centre anyway, because I'm loaded with the cash, but now I get a gift certificate to boot, hot damn. This is great for everybody, oh wait, what if you can't afford to buy anything from the brick?
False Assumption: "Lets make the Rich Richer, It's better that way."
Does the Brick honeslty think that people will think they're doing a good thing? How about this, everytime you purchase something at the brick, $100 will go to a local food bank to help feed people who can't afford that nice leather couch you just purchased, let alone eat.
Disgusting. The world is controlled by corporations, and corporations are controlled by the rich, who sit in an office, at the top of some building, cut-off from the rest of the world, deciding whats best for it. Thats why the world has sunk to what it has over the last fifty years, lack of personal contact.
If you can't see the bad side of things, there isn't one. Things were much better off when factories and stores had personal relationships with the people who worked for them. Employee's were friends with their bosses, and treated as such. People helped people, and the world was a generally happy place.
Realize this, and your above it. You have the potential to change it, to make it better. But realize at the same time that you know nothing, for if you think you know, you'll only make things worse. Balance is key, and it's tipped towards profit, I'd rather have it tipped towards people, wouldn't you?
Peace Out Looking at the world through a Blindfold
