Five Minute Format If it ain't broke, Bash it till it is
I've decided on a new rule when it comes to fixing my computer. When Something doesn't work right, go through the normal list of checks (drivers, new software installs, etc). If none of the previous work, then proceed to five minutes of desperation. This five minutes may include the removing of hardware, Critical Drivers, and a Virus Scan.
Should you not succeed to find the problem in your five minutes of desperation, back up any valuble files, and format.
I tried this tonight, and ended up formatting. Oh well, backed up anything important on my secound hard drive and strangled the one that wasn't cooperating.
Cleared a lot of problems, and the box runs faster on the whole now.
Nothing like a good format every now and then, its like cleaning up your bedroom, or fixing a leaky faucet, you just feel better after doing it. Refreshing.
Anyway, This moment of nothing was Brought to you by the letter K.
Peace Out. Backwards is forwards only going the other way.
