Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
My View Askewing is Complete
Finished watching Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back this afternoon, and with that, my viewing of the complete series of view askew movies. For fun factor i'd have to say that JASBSB was probably the best, while Clerks was just, well, clerks. You really have to see these movies if you haven't (Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and JASBSB) there really out there and different.
Anyway, Summers almost up, and with that the horrid bells of school are ringing. bleh. At least I'm not going back to the shatty poo poo that was high school, and apparently Treble Charger is playing at orientation [ check the back of the title, bought detox the day it came out :^) ]. Sloan will also be there, which is excellent (so long as money city maniacs gets played.
I have a horrible feeling that this whole band thing will be one of those get the message across sorts of things. For example: 'We will rock you' , DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, 'Money City Maniacs' , DRUGS ARE THE DEVIL , 'Hundred Million' , DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, etc. etc. etc. These seem to have been popularized throughout my high school years, but i've come to a bit of a conclusion on them: If your smart enough to realize the whole thing is a sham, then its not directed at you. If you don't realize its a sham, then maybe you'll get the message :^).
Also added a little graphical doo-hicky to the date bar. Tryed to make it less boring. Oh and Ah at my geometric, anti-aliased goodness, this is the big time people.
