simplicity has got to be the most complicated thing in the world. it's one of those ironic bastards that lead you on, like the only constant being change.
think of all the things you've got coming at you on any given day; and what it would take to whiddle those things down to only those you could handle. It's less work to do more work, simply put.
It's the simplest things in life that are the hardest to deal with. Perhaps given their simple natures we don't see why they're necessary, and hence don't take them as seriously. Unfortunately the simple things are also the most important.
which of course leads me to the conclusion that things would be a lot simpler if simplicity wasn't so complicated, and we're off into the cycle again.
